Although this book is easy to read, I wished it had conveyed a better understanding of how difficult eating problems can be. It was obviously written by a Zen Buddhist Monk rather than a therapist because it focuses a lot on Buddhism and theory rather than strategies. I’ve battled ups and downs in my weight and stress eating for many years. I’ve read many other helpful books about mindful eating and like the approach in genneral

  2. This by far the best book I have read on these subjecys. Most books emphasize one aspect ot the other but this book emphasizes both aspects equally. It is simple to follow and keeps to the point
