This cookbook is not for some one from a small town that does not have access to some of the food products needed to complete the recipe

I gave this book to my granddaughter as a gift. It is the best kid’s cookbook I’ve ever seen. Unlike the recent Paula Deen book that encourages kids to cook high-calorie unhealthy foods, this book teaches children how to use healthy ingredients to make delicious food. It is filled with beautiful photos that kids love, nutritious foods that are good for growing bodies, and easy to make recipes that promote the joy of cooking. Combined with the field guide to food, “Feeding the Kids” Feeding the Kids: The Flexible, No-Battles, Healthy Eating System for the Whole Family (Fork and Spoon Field Guides) (Fork and Spoon Field Guides) the whole family can get on the road to LOVING to eat delicious foods that are pretty, bright, tasty and fun.

My daughter is eight. She is already planning her career as a chef! This is her favorite cookbook so far and has helped her to want to try a few new ingredients and recipes.

I love this book. Packed with healthy kid (and adult) friendly recipes.

Good way to introduce cooking experiences to children. Teaching children to make healthy choices is a good way to prevent obsesity. This certianly has become a favorite of mine. Worth every penny.
